3.1.a [i] Address types, VLSM

There are three types of IPv4 addresses, namely:

● Host address ● Network or Subnetwork address ● Broadcast address

Within each type, there are five classes that addresses can be carved out from. Those classes are known as A, B, C, D, and E.
